Are you accepting new clients?

At this time ECCS is accepting clients to the waitlist. Call or email us at hello@embracingchangecounselingervices.com to be added to the waitlist. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

If I am interested, what should I do first?

It’s wonderful that you’re interested in services.  The first thing you should do is make that phone call.  A free telephone consultation will be scheduled prior to the first session.  This will allow the provider to gather some initial information and provides the client with an opportunity to ask questions and make sure this relationship would be a good fit.

Do you accept credit or debit cards?

Yes, through the client portal.

What are your fees?

Embracing Change Counseling Services offers several payment options. Erica is an in-network provider with many insurance companies. However, if she is not in-network with your insurance company you may have the ability to utilize out-of-network benefits or privately pay.

Does ECCS accept insurance?

At this time, ECCS is accepting Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Magellan Behavioral Health, Beacon, Value Options, and Empire BCBS. ECCS is also accepting Cigna EAP and Horizon EAP. If you don't see your insurance listed, call or email today as ECCS is often working with additional insurance companies If ECCS is not contracted with your insurance company, we recommend you call your insurance company to see if they will reimburse for an “out of network provider."

How long are sessions?

A single counseling session is 50 minutes.

What can I expect from my first session?

The first session consists of a 50 minute session which includes a brief overview of the provider and what she does as well as a review of the providers professional disclosure statement and consent for treatment.   There will be information gathering as well as a discussed regarding the client’s goals for counseling.
